Manga History You Need To Know

Let's get to know Manga History~

MANGA (pronounce as 'man-ga' or 'ma-ng-ga') is a Japanese term for comic/cartoon.
Outside Japan, besides as comic, it is also known as a Japanese drawing style. The comic artist in Japan is called Mangaka.
Manga historian researchers estimating Manga was created since the 12 century in the form of children's theme stories, which made in illustrated paper rolls, that is called Choju Giga.

It is undeniable that Japanese society has prominent creativity, as well as their arts.

In the era of Kibyoshi manga genre, the cartoonists also raised political and social theme. That often the cartoonists get arrested by the authorities.
What a spirit! •̀.̫•́✧

Entering the wartime, the Japanese government used the talents of the cartoonists for the propaganda against the enemies.
After the war, Manga starts spreading out throughout the world.
In the 18th century, Manga became a general term in the cartoons
Manga artist Kitazawa Rakuten & Ippei Okimoto are known as pioneers who got inspired to combine Japanese and Western Cultures.

THE TRANSITION OF MANGA TO ANIME (ANIMATION) OR CINEMA VERSION
  1. This first position in the procedure is similar to the Challenge system in some Web Comic' Publishers, the difference is the Mangaka receive commision. If the Manga passed the selection stage, then the Chapter Zero/the introduction series will be published.
  2. In this second stage, the position of the Manga is not always safe.
There is a possibility the Manga may not long lasting; the series publication might be stopped and being replaced by other new Manga competitors.
If the long-lasting series have been published and reached a certain amount, then the manga would be considered to go to the next step. The collection of that series will be published into book version.
  3. In this third stage, then the film industries might start to look into the Manga and make the anime or cinema version.

There are a bunch of Mangas that have been adapted to the anime version, as well as the cinema version!
For example, Boys Before Flower Manga which has been made into TV series versions from so many different countries.
Misskomik also has another favorite, that is Basilisk Manga movie. You guys watched it, yet?
The critic said, it is so breathtaking, I could not agree more! (个_个)
Some western movies producers are eyeing some Mangas, too, as you might notice.
Who has watched Death Note Manga in a western movie version?

If you know other Mangas cinema version, please feel free to share it in the comment column. Maybe not many people know about it yet. (•̀o•́)ง

Now Misskomik will talk about places that have been built especially for Manga/Anime fan.

There are also some other places that have been famous and become a tourist destination. Misskomik, personally, think that really reflects how manga art is highly valued.

Muttering*  While in my area, sometimes people might look at you in a funny way, just by holding a comic book (╯︵╰,)
