Comic Submission - Logline, Manuscripts, Etc

Misskomik Workshop Manga continues to discuss the third part of the topic about Comic Submission - Logline, Manuscripts, Etc ~

Preparing to submit your Comic project to a publisher, besides of course the primary are examples of your Comic/Manga drawing, the flow and composition of your comic's story also needs to be included. The flow and compositions of your comic's story means it's Logline, Manuscript, & an engaging title name.
Here are an explanation of those three things.


COMIC LOGLINE

Explanation in Logline must be more detailed; a brief summary of story points in your Comic. Logline is intended to be read by the publisher-editor section.
The maximum words can reach 200.


For minimum-maximal depens on the publisher's requisit

 While synopsis for readers is generally 1-2 sentences, which could be ended with just a teaser or ended with a question sentence. For a synopsis, you can prepare it later, if your submitted comic gets approval. Also, the publisher-editor will help you with an idea to find keywords that can help polish your Comics.

As it was also eaten by Luffi to make his body elastic like rubber.

Unfortunately, many of the fruit eaters used it to conquer opponents with the intention that the world is in its grasp.


TITLE COMIC AS A LOGO

Design up your own Comic Title resemble a logo. For it will have a memorable impression to the readers, because it's own a uniqueness. For letters or (at least) front letter of Comic's Title are, your own creation.


COMIC MANUSCRIPT

  • How many Manuscripts you need to prepare, depends on how many comic's pages for a sample are requested.
  • Font "Arial" 11 Points - Line Spacing 1.5.
  • The explanation can be set according to your own style & with simple code for :
  1. Point of view in one panel ; 'LS(long shoot), MS(medium shoot), CU(close up)'.
  2. SFX for Sound Effect.
  3. TB(text-box) for Narration in a Text-Box.
  • -Give a description/character biodata, also include character images with various sides of the face pose, expression, & whole body.

A girl sits on a park bench, a drawing book in her hand. In the distance in an area to play snow chunks, there were two people; a toddler & an adult are engrossed in whatever form of snow.

Panel 2 : CU
Spotlight what the girl drew on the bench; the character of two people who were playing the chunks of snow.

Panel 3 : MS
Point view Rei, standing on the left side of Kira.
Rei: TB, "Um, excuse me ...?"
Kira: SFX, realizing someone was asking her.

Panel 4 : CU
A shocked expression on Kira when she saw who asked.

Panel 5 : MS
Point view Kira looking at Rei; who did not pay attention and continued the question.
Rei: TB, "The University's Medical Center is supposed to be around here somewhere. Do you know where it is? "

Spotlight only the drawing book. Kira's hand suddenly drawing something; a map plan.

Spotlight Rei's confused face; full of questions.
Rei : SFX, “?”

Spotlight the drawing book, one page is being pulled/torn from the pin-book.

Panel 4 : MS
Point view from the side of Kira-Rei. Kira's hand handed the paper to Rei.

Panel 5 : CU
Point view Rei being amazed at the contents of the paper.

Panel 6 : MS
Suddenly Kira rushed away leaving Rei who was still amazed at the contents of the paper and then tried to ask the girl to stop.
Rei : TB “Huh?”
Rei : TB “Hey... wait!”

Panel 7 :
Rei's shocked expression, surprised by the attitude of the girl who left him in a hurry.
Rei: TB "What was that all about?"

Scene: In the morning, Kira's residence.

Panel 1 : LS
Spotlight the area of an apartment's environmental side.

Panel 2 : MS
Almost full body of Kira's Mom, aware of her daughter return.
Mom: SFX, sign noticing.
Mom: TB “Kira?”

What happens next? C'mon,  try continue on your own now（〜^∇^)〜
